|Lew WhiteAs the “founding father” of Lew White Tours, Lew credits his passion with the motorcoach industry to his part time job as a motorcoach driver in the late sixties while a student at the University of Illinois. Over time he realized that arranging motorcoach transportation and tours was his specialty. In 1978, Lew left his full time employment and started Lew White Tours. During 1989, Lew moved the operation from his home and opened an office in Indianapolis. The business enjoyed a growth to over $2 million in 1996. At that time, Lew sold the business to a motorcoach company, where he continued to manage the tour operations. In 2001, Lew White Tours was once again under Lew’s ownership.
